FS ABERIKIA TRANSPORT INC (“we”, “us”) is a trucking company at 1310 Dundas St, Unit 225, Mississauga, ON L4Y 2C1. This policy explains what personal information this website collects, why, and what we do with it. We follow Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and, for visitors in Quebec, the Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector.

Quote requests: your name and email address; your phone number and company if you choose to give them; and the details of the shipment — origin, destination, type of freight, whether it is regulated as dangerous goods, a description, weight, piece count, dimensions, dates and any notes.

Contact messages: your name, email address, your message, and your phone number and company if you choose to give them.

Tracking: the tracking number you type in.

When you load any page, the company that hosts the website automatically records technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the page requested. It uses this to keep the website running and secure.

We ask only for what we need to answer your request. Please do not send us sensitive personal information through these forms.

We use this information only to reply to your request, prepare a quote, contact you about it, and — if you book with us — arrange and move your freight and keep the business records the law requires.

By sending a form, you consent to this use. We do not sell or rent personal information, we do not use it for advertising, and we do not add you to a mailing list.

Service providers that work for us and may only use it for that purpose: the company that hosts this website and the company that delivers the form submissions to our inbox by email. Some of these providers store or process information outside Canada, including in the United States, where it may be accessed by the courts or authorities of that country under its laws.

If you book a cross-border shipment, the information that customs requires is shared with your customs broker and with border authorities. We also disclose information when the law requires it.

This website uses no advertising cookies, no analytics and no third-party tracking. It only stores your language, your light or dark display choice, and whether the opening animation has played. Details are in our cookie policy.

We keep quote requests and messages only as long as we need them to deal with your request. If a request does not lead to business, we delete it once it is no longer needed. Records of shipments we move are kept for as long as tax and transport law requires, then deleted.

The website uses an encrypted connection (HTTPS), and access to requests is limited to the people who need it. No method of sending or storing information is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect what you give us.

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or withdraw your consent to further contact. Contact our privacy officer as described above. We will respond within 30 days.

If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada (priv.gc.ca). Quebec residents can also contact the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec.

This website is for businesses arranging freight. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
